Sold and priced by the lineal, or running foot. Hardwood boards average between 6'-12' in length, evens and odds, with some longer and shorter lengths available. We will do our best to accommodate your requested lengths but may need to adjust the final footage so you can end up with the stock you need. This often involves purchasing additional footage. The sapwood is a creamy white and can be variegated or striped. The heartwood tends to have a pale olive color to a pale brown color, and is known to have dark blue, dark purple, dark green and black streaks. The wood is straight grained and has a very fine and even texture.
