1 gallon jug. QUIKRETE(r) Thermo-Lube(r) No. 1905 is a winter admixture that provides thermal characteristics required for a faster set and increased early strength. Reduces the time that fresh concrete or mortar needs to be protected from freezing. Keeps concrete and masonry work moving.
PRODUCT USE:
QUIKRETE(r) Thermo-Lube(r) is used as an additive to concrete and mortar
to help accelerate the set and reduce the time that the fresh concrete needs to be protected from freezing. It is also excellent as a "wetting" agent or a
lubricant to allow for more workability. QUIKRETE(r) Thermo-Lube(r) meets ASTM specification C494 for Type C Accelerating Admixtures. Early
strengths may be enhanced by the addition of QUIKRETE(r) Thermo-Lube(r) without adversely affecting later strengths.
PRECAUTIONS:
- Contains Calcium Chloride. Do not use in areas that will be in contact with steel reinforcement.
- Protect concrete or mortar from freezing for a minimum of 24 hours.
- If color is important, addition rates should be established, and consistency maintained throughout the project.
- For maximum acceleration use the highest recommend dosage. Do
not under any circumstances use more than the recommended
dosage.
