Species: Eastern White Pine. This is #4, or standard, pine. It has a wide variety of natural characteristics, and defects like missing knots, cracks, wane, etc. are common and within grade. We stock the same size in a #2 (sku 112CPRL) and a select (sku 112SPRL) if you want to upgrade. If you're looking for something really rustic, this is it. Source: typically Maine or New Hampshire
