#2 grade Southern Yellow Pine treated with CULPEPER MICROPRO(r) technology. MicroPro pressure treated wood is treated with micronized copper preservatives which gives it a more natural wood appearance with better paint & stainability and significantly improved corrosion performance. Approved for ground contact.

What is #2 Grade? #2 Grade is the best grade we can source for 8x timbers and will contain moderate sized knots and occasional wane. Useful when appearance is of moderate concern.

Please note also that 8x timbers usually have a rough surface, but occasionally will be planed smooth.
